The new epoxy floor of the Lagkagehuset.
The local Lagkagehuset store in Skive faced the challenge of finding a floor that was both easy to clean and not too slippery to walk on, while also being able to withstand a lot of trolley traffic.
The decision was made for a seamless floor, which solved all the issues. The flooring system is called Areo EP Coat Structure and is an epoxy coating, sprinkled with sand. The material is waterproof and meets very high hygiene requirements. The floor is suitable for wet environments with heavy traffic and has a good slip resistance that can be adjusted as needed.
To minimize disruption to daily operations, Areo carried out the job over the weekend. Judging from the feedback Areo has received, the task was carried out beyond all expectations. Both for the benefit of the employees who are in the store on a daily basis and the customers, as the floor helps to improve job satisfaction and the customer experience.
