Jyske Bank’s parking garage in Silkeborg has been under reconstruction. In this connection, we have carried out fall construction and acrylic coating on the upper deck of Jyske Bank’s parking garage. The work is being carried out in cooperation with Arkil.
Polymer concrete precast construction
The slope construction is carried out as a polymer concrete screed on the existing concrete deck.
Polymer concrete is a strong, dense concrete with low shrinkage and optimal adhesion to the substrate. The concrete is suitable for outdoor use and meets the requirements for extra aggressive environment.
To field divide the parking deck, expansion joints have been installed.
Acrylic membrane coating
On top of the drop structure, we have laid an acrylic membrane coating. The advantages of an acrylic coating are that it is fast curing and it also cures in sub-zero temperatures.
Acrylic coating is a waterproof, non-slip and highly durable coating for parking areas.
The coating is available in different colors. A dark color has been chosen for the parking deck and a light color for the sidewalk. The different colors increase user-friendliness and safety in the car park.
