Cement-based wearing course

Uniform and ideal for
larger surfaces
Cement-based (screed) wear layer flooring
Cement-based (screed) wear layer flooring, with its uniform surface, is suitable for the application of floor coverings such as Areo seamless floor coverings or tiles, laminate, parquet or other standard floor coverings.
Mixing and paving is done with combined mixing and pumping machines, which can be used for both small and large jobs. By using a pumping machine, waste is minimised and by laying with a hose, the process is further streamlined. With our own pumping machine, we can lay up to 200 square meters of cement-based wearing per day.
Mixing ratio:
- 280- 300 kg washed sand 0-6 mm
- 37-38 kg Cement
- ca 100 gr Wiking Fibre (Polypropylene Homopolymer – PPH)
- 18-20 ltr water (from construction site)
Adaptable according to needs
Can be used for various construction projects
Ideal for larger surfaces
Can be walked on after a drying time of 24 hours
EPD Cement
DGNB Certification edgebanding

More About Cement-based wearing course
Why choose a cement-based wearing layer?
A cement-based wearing layer, with its uniform surface, is suitable for the application of floor coverings such as Areo’s seamless floor coverings or tiles, laminate, parquet or other standard floor coverings.
The advantage of cement-based wearing layers is that they can be adapted as needed. The unique mixing ratios allow the cement-based wearing layer to be used for various construction projects. Including Residential, Industrial,Commercial, Institutions,Hospitals and and much more.
Less waste and greater efficiency
The wearing course is usually laid in thicknesses from 55-60 mm and can be laid on both ground cover, insulation or as a finished floor surface. If no further surface coating is required, the cement-based wear layer, after sanding, can simply be given a topcoat.
A wear layer makes the concrete foundation even stronger and provides the base for a long-lasting and hard-wearing floor. The wear layer can be walked on after a drying time of 24 hours.
