Areo strengthens its subfloor business
A new business area will give the company Areo A/S even more air under its wings.
“For a long time, customers have been asking us to take on the entire contract so that they only have to deal with one person responsible. We took the consequences of this, and therefore subfloors are now part of Areo,” says Sales Director Michael Hougaard about Areo’s new business area.
He can clearly see that the company has entered an area where there is a great need.
One of the investments in the new business area is a pump truck, which is already sent out daily to renovation, modernization and new construction projects throughout Denmark.
The new pump truck is a concrete example of the fact that Areo, which until now has mainly worked with seamless coating, can now take care of the entire floor construction from bottom to top – from subfloor to seamless coating.
“The pump truck’s specially trained crews can quickly and efficiently lay liquid mortar and thin plaster for subfloors and floor screeds throughout Denmark. For example, foam concrete, soundproofing and wear layers over heating pipes. It offers a lot of advantages, because you save both time and materials,” explains Michael Hougaard about the reason why the new business area has got off to such a good start.
Long experience in custom-made flooring
As a long-standing player in the flooring industry, Areo attaches great importance to good cooperation with other suppliers.
“We have entered this field because it has been a strong request from our customers. But we are very conscious of continuing our good cooperation with other suppliers and therefore we don’t necessarily need the whole project,” says Michael Hougaard, who is used to handling tailor-made solutions with many players.
“We need to collaborate with other suppliers, advise contractors and allow architects to work creatively with the flooring systems. Our strength is that we are used to project management in flooring and therefore everyone can be confident that the quality is high, no matter what task we are involved in,” says Michael Hougaard.
