Inauguration of the T-OP operating room in Skejby Hospital – with hospital floors from Areo
At the end of 2014, Areo floor installers spent a few weeks in the operating room at Skejby Hospital. But not as patients. They were laying a unique and durable floor. A terrazzo-look PU floor with unique resistance to aggressive chemicals and high temperatures – Areo PU Clinic Terrazzo coating with hollow core. The floor consists of several layers and is topped with a special PU coating with aggregates, which gives a silky smooth and non-slip surface. In addition, the floor is very easy to clean.
The operating room was inaugurated at the reception on March 19, 2015. The ward nurse Annette Johnsen, our contact person on the job, has commented on the result as follows: “We are very happy with our new operating room and extremely satisfied with the new floor. We have a floor that meets all our wishes. It is robust, safe for our employees to walk on, contributes to good acoustics in the living room and is easy to clean.”
