As the holiday season winds down, Areo employees can now relax for a while.

On Friday, December 13, there was a quarterly meeting for the company’s 53 employees at the headquarters in Gjern. Everyone from fitters and kitchen staff to managers and administrative staff attended. Traditionally, they played Christmas bingo and lottery, ate Christmas dinner together, handed out company Christmas gifts, laughed and toasted.

We’re busy and growing, so we need all the hands we can get

Director Hans jørgen Pedersen

Of course, there was time for chatting and smoking breaks so that everyone could say hello and Merry Christmas to each other.

We’re really keen to make sure that all our employees have time to talk to each other properly, because many of us don’t see each other on a daily basis.

The juicy, home-smoked ham and the “risalamanden” (the danish christmas dessert made from rice and almonds) were complemented by a positive report from CEO Hans Jørgen Pedersen. As he said, 2024 has been both busy and profitable – despite a somewhat difficult start.
” And we expect 2025 to be even better – with lots of big construction projects and more black numbers on the bottom line.”

In the same breath, he encouraged everyone to spread the word: We’re busy and growing, so we need all the hands we can get. We’re actually short of installers, so if you know someone who knows their way around the details and wants a good job, they should come to me.
