Danish owner-managed company
Areo A/S is a Danish company owned by the brothers Jens and Michael Hougaard. The two have worked together for many years; Jens Hougaard as Managing Director and Michael Hougaard as Sales Director. Areo’s permanent staff of employees have been in the industry for many years. Therefore, you get a solid partner with extensive experience and deep expertise when collaborate with us.
We help you – from foundation to top
Areo’s experts offer a thorough dialogue about both subfloors, injection and seamless coating. If you only need help with one part, we are happy to cooperate with other suppliers.
Based on your project requirements, we present you with a number of options so that you can choose the right solution for your project.
Subfloors
With specially trained personnel for subfloor constructions and with our own pump truck, we can quickly and efficiently lay floating mortar and thin plaster for subfloors and floor leveling throughout Denmark. At the same time, we lay out acoustic cloth and heating hoses, i.e. the entire structure of the subfloor. Delivery by pump truck has many advantages. Among other things, material waste is avoided and time is saved. Our products are checked by Denmark’s Technological Institute, so you can rest assured that everything meets the applicable requirements and specifications for the construction of subfloors.
Injection
If concrete cracks, becomes porous or is affected by water, it must be stopped in time so that the damage does not become permanent. We seal and close voids and cracks in concrete, masonry and foundations so that it becomes strong and resistant again. Injection is a good alternative to reinforcement, so you avoid replacing entire concrete structures and surfaces. It is also suitable for major maintenance work on walls and floors.
Membranes
Membrane is a coating that prevents the penetration of water into structures. This applies to structures such as parking decks, basement decks, roof gardens, terraces, ramps, tunnels, bridges, foundations, where membranes need to protect against water ingress.
Seamless coatings
As experts in seamless floor coverings Areo offers tailor-made solutions. Our floor systems meet all functional requirements and at the same time give architects ample opportunities to work creatively.
Plastic coatings such as epoxy, acrylic, polyurethane and terrazzo, as well as cement-based design floors and concrete grinding, are carried out throughout Denmark.
As authorized within all our product areas, we only use systems with long durability, wear resistance and slip resistance, just as hygiene, aesthetics and functionality are paramount. The coatings are of course tailored to the strict requirements of industrial environments, and together with our suppliers we follow developments in the field closely.
